At your appointment, we'll start with a thorough consultation to assess your skin and discuss your goals. After cleansing your face, we apply a topical numbing cream and let it sit for about 20-30 minutes. Once you're numb, the actual microneedling procedure takes 30-60 minutes depending on the areas treated. You'll feel some pressure and a scratching sensation, but it shouldn't be painful thanks to the numbing cream.

Immediately after your appointment, your skin may look red and flushed, similar to a sunburn. This is completely normal! You may also notice some minor swelling or feel like your skin is tight. We'll apply a soothing serum to calm your skin before you leave.

You’ll also be given some important aftercare instructions, including:

• Avoid sun exposure and wear SPF 30+ daily (crucial!)
• Don't use harsh products, retinol, or acids for at least a week
• Keep your skin moisturized and hydrated
• No strenuous exercise for 24 hours

Here’s what you can expect in the days following:

• Day 1-2: Redness and sensitivity continue, similar to a sunburn. Your skin may feel dry or tight.
